Manufacturers in the cloud: new markets and
technology applications
The market trend towards digitalisation and sustainable energy use expects building components to interact across sectors. Therefore, manufacturers of energy and building technology products need to develop suitable business models and further expertise beyond their own segment. ecocoach provides expertise and solutions for this and quickly supplements your hardware products with software modules for energy management, online support, end-user apps, and new business models with recurring revenues.
A platform for the entire value chain
Decision-makers such as planners, installers, and dealers increasingly use modular products that are technically, commercially and used daily from a single source. ecocoach fulfils this overarching requirement as a solution platform and makes it available to manufacturers as a partner or white-label option. The platform significantly enhances the performance of the manufacturer's product for planners, customers and end users:

Charging management for the new charging station series
As a globally established electronics and electrical connection technology manufacturer, Weidmüller has also entered the charging technology market, and with the launch of the new AC SMART wallbox series, the company, which specialises in hardware, sought the ecocoach partnership for fast and professional software development of dynamic charging management.
Better than existing systems right from the start
ecocoach put together the desired product from largely existing functions of the ecocoach platform as a white-label solution, which saved valuable development resources. Based on this, Weidmüller commissioned ecocoach with specific further developments, resulting in a convincing overall solution. This unique solution package includes an intuitive installation wizard, the cascading of load management across several sub-distribution boards and online operation management.
Well thought-out from the sales structure to the end user
Weidmüller chose ecocoach because of its broad, in-depth know-how and proven energy management and digitalisation expertise. With the partnership, the hardware professional secured access to digital business models and processes, such as remote system maintenance and online services. In the event of future product requirements, both partners will also integrate new functions at a low threshold based on the existing modular ecocoach platform.
