FAQs - Frequently asked questions
As the ecoChargingCoach is manufacturer-independent, the charging point can be switched on or off using the ecocoach app on a smartphone.
ecocoach provides charging management and ensures that external billing service providers can bill in parallel via OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) (in accordance with the technical data sheet).
It is also possible to export the list of expenses per user via ecoOneClick. This allows the various cost centres to be billed.
The ecoChargingCoach is compatible with the charging stations of the manufacturers listed on the compatibility list, including ABB, Heidelberg, Weidmüller, and many more.
It is recommended that a dynamic charging management system be used for two or more charging stations to ideally distribute the available charging power to the charging points. This is the only way to ensure simultaneous charging.
A lack of charging management can lead to the power not being optimally distributed and overloading the fuse.
No, the ecoChargingCoach does not require any maintenance. The installer provides first-level support.
No, there are no ongoing costs for charging management. However, depending on the billing solution, third-party providers may incur additional costs.
