The Mättivor energy development
The Mättivor development was realised to achieve energy independence. The development residents enjoy a high standard of fit-out with technically advanced installations. For example, each flat has smart home equipment that automatically raises the blinds when a thunderstorm approaches. Light and heat can also be regulated via the app. All flats and villas have one or two underground car parking spaces, which can be equipped with charging stations for electric cars if required.
Maximum energy self-sufficiency thanks to the ecoGroup
Your active role in high energy consumption is the key to achieving a high degree of energy self-sufficiency. This self-sufficiency is a balance between energy self-production and self-consumption. The more efficient this balance, the more independent your development becomes from the (inter)national electricity market. By utilizing the products of ecocoach AG, combined with those of ecoenergy systems AG, you can take significant steps towards maximum energy self-sufficiency.
The photovoltaic modules installed throughout the roof produce electricity from solar energy. If it is not consumed directly, it is automatically stored temporarily in the battery storage system. In this way, fluctuations in demand, such as day/night, can be efficiently balanced out. In addition to the PV systems on the roof and the ecoBatterySystem for storage, the charging stations in the underground car park are connected to two charging management systems. These prevent charging peaks and equalise power consumption evenly across all charging stations. Regardless of which charging station the residents choose, the ecoChargingCoach is open to all manufacturers and can coordinate the performance of different wallboxes and electric cars. The Mättivor development in Schwyz shines thanks to innovative energy technology and an energy management system. Energy production, storage and consumption are optimally regulated across the neighbourhood.
The Mättivor energy complex is heated with district heating from AGRO Energie Schwyz AG. It primarily uses yard and wood waste to produce electricity. However, the waste heat generated is not simply released into the atmosphere but distributed to industry and households in the region via an underground district heating network. This also applies to the Mättivor development.
The Mättivor development is therefore a good example of how a high degree of energy self-sufficiency can be achieved. Renewable energy does not have to be cost-intensive, nor do residents have to sacrifice comfort. They live as climate-neutrally as possible and enjoy various benefits that come with the use of renewable energy.
